Privacy notice
Last updated 7 November 2026
This notice explains what personal information I collect through this website, why, and what rights you have. I keep it short because I collect very little.
Who I am
This website is run by Paul Leigh, who is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact me about privacy at paul@leigh.me.uk.
What I collect
I only collect what you choose to send me:
- Contact form: your name, email address, company and phone number (if you give them) and your message.
- Email, WhatsApp and calls: your contact details and whatever you include in the conversation.
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not build a profile of you. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it; it is never sent to me.
Why I use it
I use your information to reply to your enquiry and, if we decide to work together, to arrange and deliver that work. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, and, where we agree to work together, taking steps towards and performing a contract.
Who else sees it
I do not sell or share your information. It passes through a small number of trusted service providers that make the site and my email work, such as website hosting, security checks that block spam on the contact form, and email delivery. They process it only to provide that service.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and any work that follows, then delete them. If we do not go on to work together, I delete enquiries within two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email paul@leigh.me.uk and I will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top will change with it.
